Campaign 1: 1GF Beer
Providing inspiration for our name, our first campaign aims to ensure inclusivity in the very British setting that is your local pub. These days there are a plethora of gluten-free beer options provided by breweries of all shapes and sizes across the country. Our aim is to get pubs to commit to offering, at the very least, just one gluten-free beer option on tap, permanently.
The pub-going experience is often one where gluten-free people feel isolated, either having to plump for an unwanted cider or, if available, paying extortionate prices for a bottled gluten-free beer. By committing to having just one gluten-free beer option on tap, pubs will be championing inclusivity whilst also showcasing some of the excellent, and ever-growing, gluten-free beer choices the UK has to offer.
1GF is currently putting together a list of breweries across the country and their gluten-free beer options. From there, we will contact as many pubs in the UK as possible asking them to commit to the 1GF Beer campaign. The list of pubs and their locations will be published on this site, and we will also ask these pubs to highlight on their website that they have committed to this campaign.
